The Disciples Escoffier Bali Chapter's Annual Gala Dinner is a highly anticipated event in the Bali culinary scene, and this year's special Epicurean Dinner (LE DINER d’EPICURE) is set to take place on the 5th of May 2023 at Mozaic Restaurant in Ubud. True to the values of Escoffier, the event will showcase the best of local talent, with a five-course tasting menu prepared under the expert guidance of Master Chef Chris Salans.

Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomique in Ubud is known for its stunning location, nestled amidst lush greenery and is the perfect setting for an event that celebrates the talent of 5 uprising Indonesian chefs on the Bali food scene, and the LE DINER d’EPICURE promises to deliver just that. The event is organized by the Disciples Escoffier Indonesia, a prestigious culinary organization that is dedicated to preserving the traditions of French cuisine and promoting culinary excellence.

The event will feature chefs Bayu Retno Timur of Mandapa Ritz Carlton, Ni Wayan Suweni of Mozaic, I Wayan Suniardana of Akar & Sardine, Arief Wicaksono of Woods, and Ni Putu Diana of Vincent Nigita’s Pâtisserie. Each course has been carefully curated by Master Chef Chris Salans, using the best of local sustainable produce. Chef Salans has been instrumental in elevating the Balinese culinary scene to new heights and his expertise will be on full display at this event.

The optional wine pairing, selected by Mozaic's wine director, Cok Bagus Senajaya, will complement the flavors of each dish and enhance the dining experience. Cok has carefully curated a selection of wines from around the world, with a focus on showcasing the best world wines.

Part of the proceeds of the dinner will be donated to a charitable enterprise as it is the tradition for all Disciples Escoffier events and for this we will be supporting the East Bali Poverty Project which helps house, nourish and school the Balinese that are most in need.
